Publishing in Nature Journals: From an editor’s perspective
讲座摘要：In this talk, I would like to introduce the Nature family journals and describe the key differences between different journals. I will briefly talk about the scope, content type, and editorial requirements for Nature, Nature Research Journals, Nature Reviews Journals and Nature Communications. Following a brief introduction of my colleagues, I would like to talk about details of editorial processes and how editors make decisions at various stages from pre-submission to post-peer review. Lastly, I would like to talk about open access journals and recent policies trialed in Nature Communications.
报告人简介：Wei Fan joined Nature Communications in September 2015. He obtained his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the Chinese Academy of Science, collaborating with the University of Bremen, City University of Hong Kong and Duke University. He then moved to RIKEN in Japan for postdoctoral research. His research background is in electronic and magnetic properties of semiconductors, multiferroic oxides and phase transitions of strongly correlated materials. Wei handles manuscripts on topological matter and superconductivity. He is based in the Shanghai office.
